Measurement of Email

JICWEBS recognises the part that email delivery can play in the promotion of a company's message. JICWEBS has therefore contributed to the development of global standards for the measurement of email distribution.

Auditing

Audits of email distribution, either of a single mailing or of the emails sent during a given period, offer media owners the ability to have an independent third party verify their statistics, based on the actual total activity recorded.

ABCe (www.abce.org.uk) carries out audits of mailings for a growing portfolio of clients in the UK and Republic of Ireland. Industry-agreed standards form the basis of certification. ABCe can also certify additional information such as demographics and metrics related to action upon receipt.

Only media owners that have achieved a successful audit are certified. Currently all audits remain confidential unless the media owner wishes to place the information in the public domain. All published audit data is available on the ABCe website at www.abce.org.uk .
